Use long-bar magnets to fix the fabric securely—the magnetic area on this metal hoop is larger and the magnetic force is stronger for consistent stitching results.

Compared with regular machine embroidery hoops with a one-piece upper frame, it is very easy to adjust fabric; simply lift the related magnet on the magnetic frame to get your fabric straight.
✅ Soft Coating Material
A soft coating material is added to the solid metal hoop base frame to avoid scratching the fabric and to prevent sliding during the embroidery process.
✅ No Hoop Mark
Compared with ordinary embroidery hoops, our embroidery hoops not only can fix the fabric quickly, save you tons of time on hooping, but also have no hoop marks.
5. FAQ
Q1. What are the similarities and differences between Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop and DIME Snap Hoop Monster magnet hoops?
A1: The similarities between Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop and DIME Snap Hoop Monster:
a. They are both magnetic hoops with a metal base frame.
b. They both connect to the corresponding embroidery machine through different attachments on the base frame.
c. Both have been tested for magnetic strength and are very strong.
The differences between Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop and DIME Snap Hoop Monster:
a. The bottom frame of Sewtalent Hoop is covered with a soft flocking layer to prevent fabric slippage and provide a more comfortable feel.
b. The DIME Hoop uses a whole upper frame, which works well for regular fabrics. In contrast, the Sewtalent Hoop uses a set of multiple magnets, making it suitable for regular fabrics as well as fabrics with zippers or uneven surfaces. You can simply avoid uneven areas by placing the magnets accordingly. If the placement isn’t ideal, adjusting a single magnet is easier than removing and re-hooping the entire frame; you only need to remove and adjust the specific magnet block.
Q2: What are the similarities and differences between the Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop and the Brother Hoopnetic Magnetic Sash Frame?
A2: The similarities between Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop and Brother Hoopnetic Magnetic Sash Frame:
a. Both are magnetic hoops with a whole base frame and an upper frame consisting of several magnets.
b. They both connect to the corresponding embroidery machine through different attachments on the base frame.
c. Both can be used as a sash frame.
d. Both have been tested for magnetic strength and are very strong.
The differences between Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop and Brother Hoopnetic Magnetic Sash Frame:
a. The bottom frame of Brother Hoopnetic Embroidery Hoop is made of plastic, while the bottom frame of Sewtalent Hoop is made of metal, which is more durable.
b. The magnets on the Brother Hoopnetic Embroidery Hoop have fixed positions and cannot be adjusted according to the embroidery area. In contrast, the magnets on the Sewtalent Hoop can be flexibly placed anywhere on the base frame, allowing convenient adjustments based on the embroidery area’s design.
Q3: Compared with Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop and Regular Hoop, which frame is easier to embroider an embroidery Design That is larger than Embroidery Area?
A3: Yes, the advantage of the Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop is that if you have a design larger than the hoop, you can move the fabric more easily by just repositioning the magnets, rather than having to re-hoop, which requires removing the regular hoop from the machine. This process with a regular hoop can result in accidentally losing your positioning by moving the motion stage.
Q4: Is there an instruction manual and usage tips for the Sewtalent magnet frame?
Yes, please download and view the Sewtalent Magnetic Hoop usage guide and tips from the following page.
Q5: If I bought a large magnetic hoop, do I still need to buy a small magnetic hoop?
Yes, generally speaking, what kind of magnet frame to buy depends on the size of your embroidery design. Large designs require large hoops. If you use a large hoop for small designs, it can be difficult to keep the fabric taut in the center since the fabric edges are far from the hoop, which can cause embroidery distortion. Therefore, it is recommended to buy a small magnetic hoop in addition to the large one.
Additionally, having multiple hoops allows you to have more magnets, making it easier to secure the fabric more densely to the base hoop.

FAQs
Will the strong magnets damage my embroidery machine's electronic components or LCD screen?
No, the Sewtalent magnetic embroidery hoop is designed with shielding in mind and will not harm your Brother or Babylock embroidery machine’s electronic circuits, sensors, or display panel during normal use. The metal hoop structure keeps magnetic fields focused on fabric holding, protecting all internal components and ensuring safe long-term operation for models like XV8500D or Solaris.
Do you offer this magnetic hoop in other sizes for my machine?
Yes! Sewtalent provides multiple magnetic embroidery hoops and magnetic frames to fit different Brother and Babylock machines. Alongside this 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm) EF97 model, we carry smaller and larger sizes to suit your various embroidery projects. Check our full product selection to find compatible options that expand your creative flexibility at home.
Are there any fabrics or projects where you would not recommend using a magnetic hoop?
While the Sewtalent metal hoop performs excellently on most fabrics such as knitwear, towels, and jeans, we don’t recommend it for extremely rigid or multi-layered materials like thick leather saddle hides. Those require industrial frame tension. For everyday embroidery tasks, this magnetic embroidery hoop ensures stable holding without leaving hoop marks or wrinkles.
My machine is not recognizing the hoop and gives an error message. How can I fix this?
If your Brother or Babylock embroidery machine shows an error, ensure the hoop frame is securely locked into position and clicks cleanly into the carriage. Then, manually select the corresponding hoop size—such as 240 × 240 mm—on your machine screen, as magnetic hoops may not auto-detect. Once proper alignment is confirmed, the magnetic frame will operate smoothly again.
