FAQs
Q: Does the listed size refer to the actual embroidery area?
A: The dimensions listed refer to the inner hoop dimension. To ensure the highest stitch quality and provide safe clearance for the presser foot, the actual recommended sewing field is slightly smaller .This protects your Janome MB4 or MB7 from frame impact and ensures optimal tension across your entire design.
Q: Will these hoops fit for my Janome MB4S or MB7S?
A: Yes. We provide the hoops based on the specific Janome model you select. These connecting arms are custom-engineered to fit the carriage of the MB4 and MB7 series perfectly, ensuring a secure and stable "plug-and-play" experience right out of the box.
Q: Can these magnetic hoops securely hold heavy fabrics like hoodies or towels?
A: Absolutely. Our magnetic system provides a powerful, uniform clamping force that is ideal for heavy, multi-layer, or "hard-to-hoop" materials. Whether you are embroidering thick fleece hoodies, heavy canvas bags, or terry cloth towels, the fabric stays perfectly flat and stable even during high-speed stitching on your Janome machine.
Q: Will these hoops leave permanent "hoop marks" on my delicate fabrics?
A: No. This is one of the primary reasons professional embroiderers choose our magnetic system for their Janome MB-series machines. Unlike traditional screw-type hoops that use localized friction, magnetic hoops use even pressure. This prevents the dreaded "hoop burn" (permanent pressure marks) on delicate materials like silk, velvet, or high-end knits.
Q: Are the strong magnets safe for my Janome machine’s screen and electronics?
A: Yes, they are completely safe. The magnetic field is highly concentrated specifically between the top and bottom steel frames to hold your fabric. It is not strong enough to interfere with the computerized touch screens, thread sensors, or internal electronics of your Janome MB4, MB4S, MB7, or MB7S embroidery machines.
